Today I would like to talk about Cristobal Balenciaga, a famous spanish designer. It was called "the architect of Fashion",because his clothes are a real architecture! Volumes,particular shapes and high quality sewing was his "must".
His most famous creations are bubble skirts and ultra-modern shapes.
Great fans of Balenciaga were: Jackie Kennedy and Queen Fabiola of Belgium (he designed her wedding dress in duchesse satin).
