Hello! How are you today? I'm really fine ^_^Today we talk about Kimono! Personally,I find the kimono so elegant and chic.
The word kimono literally means "clothing", and up until the mid 19th century it was the form of dress worn by everyone in Japan. There are different types of kimono for different occasons and seasons, including those worn by men and for brides.
Kimono are made with fully silk,fully handmade and fully hand-painted: for this reason kimono are so expensive!The parts of a kimono are really simply: they are all squares.
I found a fantastic site who sells kimono and other accessories: Ichiroya.They have amazing kimono! ^_^
Few months ago, I bought 2 books about kimono:
- "The book of kimono: The complete guide to style and wear"
- "Kimono: Fashioning culture"
